Ella Planters Bungalow

Stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, though a bit far from the action in Ella. Breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful! 😊

We had a very nice stay of 2 nights.

All the staff were very very helpful and amazingly attentive. The hotel was placed in the remote location to a waterfall. What's more, it was not far from peaceful gardens, the temple and a green valley.

The room was spacious, especially a perfect view of the hills from the window. The beds were lovely here. The hotel has stunning location just off wildlife with a backdrop of the picture postcard hills, and ella planters bungalow as one of the best in the hill country of Sri Lanka. It also was amazing on the valley.

While the distance from town can feel isolating, some on-site dining options may not meet expectations, leaving you wanting more.

Amazing views with a twist

We were greeted with fine mountain views and friendly service. Breakfast in the lush gardens, while monkeys played nearby, made our mornings magical.

The room lacked a kettle and hot drink options, which would have added to our convenience. Basic amenities were minimal, and we had only limited bottled water provided.

Amazing food and breakfast.

The tranquil grounds are fine, with a vegetable garden, pool, and beautiful views. Our Tree Top room was perfect for the family.

The charming bungalows offer amazing views, especially during sunrise, overlooking lush agricultural landscapes. The refreshing pool area, surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden, is a perfect spot to unwind. The rooms could benefit from improved cleanliness. Dust was noticeable and it affected our stay, leading to some discomfort. The lack of nearby dining options made us reliant on the limited menu available at the hotel.

We enjoyed amazing activities, like hiking and exploring the local waterfalls with a fine view. The kids loved watching the monkeys play while we relaxed during good breakfasts. Staying with a few colleagues only added to the adventure, enjoyable atmosphere.

My wife says that the bugs in the room were bothersome.

Fine views from the beautiful balcony and a good outdoor dining area (perfect for breakfast!). The pool area was a highlight, surrounded by lovely gardens with friendly wildlife. The staff, especially the manager, were helpful.

Occasionally, the noise from the nearby highway disrupted the tranquility of the stay.
